Flooding risk remains high for parts of Pima County

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Flooding remains a risk for parts of southern Pima County as rain continues to fall in Sells and the surrounding areas.
An urban and small stream flood advisory has been issued for central Pima County by the National Weather Service in Tucson.
The advisory will remain in effect until 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
The Doppler Radar is showing a series of thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall across central and western Pima County. So far, the heaviest rainfall has hit the areas northwest of Sells along Highway 86.
This heavy rainfall will result in small stream flooding across central Pima County.
Motorist and residents in these areas should seek shelter indoors and stay clear of flooded roads and washes.
