TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) -- There’s a new trend taking off on the streets.  More cars are hitting the streets wrapped in vinyl.

More business owners are getting their work and personal vehicles wrapped in vinyl in an attempt to attract new customers.  The owner of Speedpro Imaging in Tucson, a shop specializing in vinyl wrap, said the 4-wheel moving billboard is a smart investment for businesses.

“Whether it’s a billboard or a sign for the front of your building, it’s a huge investment and it’s in one location,” said Jeff Sargent.  “This [vinyl wrap] you can be as creative as you want.  There's very limited regulation and it is mobile.”

Sargent tells 9OYS it is seeing a boost of sales, itself.

“We're seeing an increase every month, he said.”

Sargent said he’s also getting a lot of calls from driver who want to spruce up their personal vehicles.

“Usually they want to change the color of the car, or they want it camouflage, or they want it to look like carbon fiber.”
