Man robs convenience store for beer

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A 30-pack of beer was taken at gunpoint from a local convenience store.
According to Deputy Tom Peine with the Pima County Sheriff's Department, a gunman took a 30-pack of beer from the Quikmart at 4611 N. Flowing Wells Road just after 11:30 p.m. on August 6.

The store clerk said the gunman was about to leave the Quikmart without paying for the beer. When the store clerk confronted the man, he retrieved a two-tone revolver with a long barrel and threatened to shoot the clerk.
The gunman fled the scene on foot, heading northbound. No one was hurt in the robbery.
The man was described as a six-foot tall Caucasian male wearing a tan shirt and blue jeans. He had short hair and was between 20 and 30-years-old.
Anyone with information regarding the robber is asked to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
