Sierra Vista police arrest burglary suspect

SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - An arrest has been made in a night club burglary incident. 
 
William "Bill" Brust, 43, has been arrested and charged with one count of criminal damage and one count of burglary for breaking into the Rendezvous Night Club at 40 N. Avenida Escuela, according to Cpl. Scott Borgstadt with the Sierra Vista Police Department.
 
During the investigation, detectives previewed surveillance video that showed Brust breaking into the night club and then breaking into the ATM machine at approximately 2:45 a.m May 23.
 
Detectives obtained evidence that Brust had recently purchased tools used in the burglary. Detectives also had evidence that Brust was in the area at the time of the break in, according to Borgstadt.
 
Brust was booked into the Cochise County Jail with one count of criminal damage and one count of burglary.
