PHOENIX (AP) - New sentencing dates have been set for three people who admitted participating in a gun smuggling ring that was monitored in the botched federal investigation known as Operation Fast and Furious.

Erick Avila Davila will be sentenced on Oct. 22, Sean Christopher Steward on Nov. 26 and Julio Jose Carrillo on Dec. 3.

All three admitted in court to buying guns on behalf of the ring and falsely claiming the weapons were for them, when they were actually purchased for the ring.

Davila and Steward have pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge.

Steward also pleaded guilty to a charge of making false statements in a gun purchase.

Carrillo pleaded guilty to a charge of dealing guns without a license.

The three face up to five years in prison.
