TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Voter mail-in ballots must be received by the time polls close on Election Day, Tuesday, August 28, 2012. To meet that deadline Pima County Recorder, F. Ann Rodriguez tells KGUN 9 that ballots should be mailed tomorrow.
To date, the Recorder’s office has mailed out 223,838 ballots and have received back a total of 101,803 of those ballots.
For those unable to mail their ballot in time, it's recommmended that you hand deliver it to ensure it reaches the Pima County Recorder's office in time. The nine (9) early voting sites maintained by the Recorder’s office will be closing on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. (except Sahuarita, which closes at 4:30 p.m.).
You can also drop off your ballot at any of the Recorder’s offices (listed below) between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays or at any polling location on Election Day.
- 115 North Church Ave. in Tucson
