Sierra Vista Police arrest man for vehicle burglary

SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Sierra Vista Police have arrested a man in connection with a vehicle burglary.
Cpl. Scott Borstadt tells KGUN9 that on August 23, an officer was patrolling the Circle K located at 720 South 7th Street.
The officer saw a male subject run from a vehicle parked in the parking lot. The officer also saw another male subject crouched in front of the vehicle. The officer made contact with the second subject who has been identified as Timothy L Erickson II.
The officer noticed the front driver's window of the vehicle had been broken. The officer also saw blood on Erickson's hands and the vehicle's window.
Through the investigation it was determined Erickson and the other subject had broken the window and were in the process of entering the vehicle when the officer drove by.
Erickson has been arrested and charged with burglary.
The subject that ran away from the scene has been identified. His location is unknown at this time but under investigation by Sierra Vista Police.
