TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A six year old is missing for months and a community turns to the power of prayer to bring her home.

Dozens of people gathered a Tucson church Friday night to pray for Isabel Celis’ safe return. Police say someone abducted the Tucsonan 98 days ago.

“We do need all the prayers because we feel that it's going to be prayers and a miracle that's going to bring her home,” Isabel’s father, Sergio, told reporters at the prayer vigil.

The more than 100 people gathered at Christian Faith Fellowship in the neighborhood of the abduction. The church houses the Isa Faith and Hope Center, which works to keep Isabel's story and picture in the public eye.

Though months have passed, the center and its community of supporters keep Isa close.

9 On Your Side reporter Kevin Keen asked supporter Charlie Danella, “Has your level of hope changed at all?” “It waivers,” Danella answered. “I think the more time passes, the more you're concerned that maybe she won't be found. I’m hoping that the center will close tomorrow or tonight. I keep hoping they'll find her.”

“I just want to bring her home and want to get her home safely,” Giovanni Danella said.”My hope stays really hopeful. I don't want to stop hoping.”

“All the prayers--just thank you so much,” said Rebecca Celis, Isabel’s mother. “Thank you so much. It's going to be prayer that brings her home. We just need you guys to keep praying for her to come home soon.”

Tucson police said Friday dedicated staff members still work Isabel’s case every day. If you have information to share with investigators, call 88-CRIME or 9-1-1.
