TUCSON (KGUN 9-TV) - Several people were arrested after deputies found over 430 pounds of marijuana at a stash house.
An officer from the Pima County Sheriff's Department Ajo District conducted a traffic stop in the 1200 block of north Sartillion and noticed a strong odor resembling that of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
The officer called for backup officers and a canine unit to respond to the scene.
Upon arriving on scene the canine alerted to the vehicle and to the property behind the vehicle.
The driver's vehicle was empty, but further investigation of the property led to the discovery of 25 bales of marijuana weighing more than 430 pounds.
The driver of the vehicle, Mashelle L. Womack, 40, confessed to transporting and storing the drugs with the help of 17-year-old male.
Both were arrested along with Tereso De Lopez-Zavala for the sale, transportation and possession of marijuana.
Kristy Ann Fejarang-Blake, 37, was one of several other people who were detained during the stash house raid. She was caught holding methamphetamine and arrested for possession of a dangerous drug.
