34-year-old woman wanted in connection with two bank robberies

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Detectives now have an arrest warrant for Melissa Ann Green, 34, for two counts of robbery. Green is connected to two recent robberies at the Tucson Healthcare Affiliates Federal Credit Union and the Bank of the West.
On June 20th, 2012 an employee from Bank of the West located at 7901 E. Speedway Blvd. called 911 at 3:50 p.m. to report a robbery. Once they reached the scene, police confirmed that there were no injuries and that the suspect had left the scene.
Detectives learned that the female suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money and threatening to cause harm. After the suspect was given an undiclosed amount of money from the teller she left the bank.
The female is described as Hispanic or Caucasian with long, red hair between the ages of 30 to 40, heavy set, and between 5'8" to 5'10" tall.
After speaking with witnesses, detectives have reason to believe that the same female suspect was involved inanother robbery that took place on June,18, 2012.
On the 18th, Police received a call from an employee at Tucson Healthcare Affiliates located at 5280 E. Grant Rd. reporting a robbery. Police arrived at the scene within five minutes, but the suspect had already left. No injuries occured during the incident.
The female suspect involved in this incident is described as Hispanic or Caucasian, 5'6" tall, around 250 pounds, approximately 40 years old, with long, dark hair and noticeable acne scars.
Detectives are asking the public to call 911 or 88-CRIME with any information about the female's identity or location.
