TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - During the 2:00 p.m. Wednesday briefing, Tucson Police Lt. Fabian Pacheco said police are still considering whether or not to continue the daily media briefings.
Sonoran Police have received reports of 5-6 sightings of Isabel Celis. However, after the investigations were conducted, none of the tips lead to her discovery.
Members of the Celis family have gone in and out of the home and have been accompanied by police.
Tucson Police are asking anyone with video from Freedom Park where Isabel Celis played little league to review their home video/phone video and share it with authorities. Any video acquired could help police in their investigation. Police are working with the little league coach to go through the roster of parents. As of Wednesday, they have not received any video.
Investigators have received over 500+ leads in this case and are following up on all of those leads.
Any mobile phone user can provide information anonymously via iPhone or Android Apps through TipSoft. People can send a text message to "CRIMES" (274637) beginning with the keyword "TucsonPD" from a mobile phone. For this specific investigation, police are using the specific full keyword "TUCSON PD 5265."
Police have met with the Celis family to discuss the requests from the media for interviews. He said that police are remaining in "constant contact" with the family. He also said that he urged them to speak with the media because this would help keep the case of Isabel Celis in the forefront of the community.
