TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The Pima County Sheriff's Department has taken two men and two women into custody after a chase that ended in a crash.
Deputy Dawn Barkman tells KGUN9 that deputies received a 9-1-1 call regarding a home invasion from a homeowner at the 5600 block of South Midvale Avenue. The homeowner called deputies as she hid inside a closet. The caller reported three people had broken inside her home.
When deputies arrived on scene, the found a passenger vehicle leaving the scene. Deputies ensued in a chase of the vehicle, says Barkman.
The vehicle, being driven by a suspect female, caused a minor collision at Irvington Road and Calle Santa Cruz before continuing.
The vehicle was finally stopped by a sheriff's vehicle at the intersection of Grant and Interstate 10 Frontage Road when he rammed into the car. Two other sheriff's vehicle helped pin the vehicle.
All four suspects have been taken into custody at this time. It is unknown what type of charges are pending.
