TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tens of thousands of people cast their ballots early in southern Arizona- but plenty more are expected to vote in person today.

There are 22 Republican Party candidates and 6 Green Party candidates. The official ballot order can be found here.

Local party leaders said the results here in the Grand Canyon state will set the stage for the party's national nominee.

The Arizona Presidential Preference Election is a "closed" primary, meaning you have to be a registered Republican or Green Party voter.

Polls are open from 6am-7pm. Mail-in ballots can be dropped off at any location, according to Pima County Elections.
