PHOENIX (AP) - A serious crash in west Phoenix has led to the closure of westbound Interstate 10 in Phoenix between 59th and 75th Avenues. A Department of Public Safety spokesman says the freeway will likely be closed for several hours as the crash scene is investigated and cleaned up.
The crash happened just before 10 a.m. involving a car that was traveling eastbound on I-10 that broke through the cable barrier. A woman driver and a child inside the car are both critically injured.
