TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Police have arrested two more family members in the child abuse case that led to the death of a one year-old baby girl and injuring her 3 year-old brother.

Authorities arrested 52 year-old Clara Huyghue, the grandmother of the baby girl and 25 year-old Keshawna Higgins the victims aunt earlier today.

Detectives developed information through their investigation of the case leading to both arrests. They say that Huyghue lived in the home and was arrested because she failed to report the obvious child abuse going on.

Keshawna Higgins was arrested because while living in the home she failed to report the abuse and she physically abused both victims.

Kiyana Higgins the victims mother was arrested on January 13th 2012 and charged with two counts of felony child abuse.

The 3 year-old boy has been released from the hospital and placed in CPS custody along with his siblings.
