TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Afternoon storms downed trees, snapped power poles and tore up a mobile home near Old Nogales Highway.
As the storm rolled in Judy Allen heard the wind pick up, but had no way to know it was about to pick up her house.
"I was lying down in bed. Got up to go to the bathroom. I got up out of the bathroom ABD everything blew up."
Her grandson and daughter live about 20 feet away. They knew there was trouble but the storm was so thick it was hard to tell right away how bad it was.
Steven Swank says, "We heard a loud boom and we can't see nothing out these windows it's hailing so bad, all we can see is a blur. Opened the door and all this was down. Throw on our shoes run in there and see if she's okay, she's in the hallway scared."
They cleared enough debris to get her out. She says she's okay and is happy to say her landlord will bring in another trailer.
