Like millions of football fans, Chris Young will be watching the Super Bowl this Sunday, but the singer is doing it in style. Without a tour date on the books, Chris will enjoy the rare weekend off by traveling to Las Vegas with some of his pals to watch the game on a big screen at a sports bar. He also plans to put a few dollars on the line.
"It's a great match-up and the Seahawks are strong, but I'm laying a crapload of money on the Broncos," Chris says with a laugh. "I'm a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan, but early in the season I thought the Broncos would make a run deep run into the playoffs."
Chris has another reason he's rooting for Denver. "I have [Broncos running back] Knowshon Moreno on my fantasy football team," he explains. "I've never spent Super Bowl weekend in Vegas and I'm looking forward to having fun and hopefully, 'what happens in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas' and comes home with me in my wallet," says Chris.
Regardless of the outcome, it's a safe bet (well, more like a sure thing) that Chris will be back on the road next weekend. The "Who I Am With You," singer will be in New Town, N.D., on Saturday (Feb. 8) and in Uniondale, N.Y., with Brad Paisley Feb. 13 and will celebrate Valentine's Day at the Moheghan Sun in Uncasville, Conn., on Feb. 14. He's also gearing up to join Dierks Bentley for the Riser tour, starting in May. Check out Chris' tour schedule here.
