  • Sent by Lee Placho, Hereford, AZ. I was leaving my doctor's office in Sierra Vista at about 1:20, getting ready to turn onto Highway 92 from La Linda Way, just before I turned I noticed what looked like a funnel cloud to the WNW, so I took these four pictures before it dissipated. • Here’s a cool shot I took yesterday near Wilcox at 1:40 pm. This is a landspout (nonsupercell) type tornado. It formed on the collision point of two outflow boundaries. It was on the ground for 6 minutes. It was called in to the NWS in Tucson but they did nothing with it. I have sense sent them photos/video of it as well. I run monsoon storm lightning workshop tours here in August, and also run the US’s largest storm chasing tour in the plains in spring. I’ve seen these many times before. Roger Hillwww.southwestphotographytours.comwww.silverliningtours.com A couple other shots added as well. Enjoy!
