  • 52-year old Vincent Mark Cesare was arrested September 10, 2013 and charged with 2 counts of Armed Robbery, 5 counts of Aggravated Assault, and 5 counts of Kidnapping, all felony offenses. He was booked into the Pima County Jail.

  • Susan Thacker, 58-years old, was arested for 1 count of Second Degree Murder as a result of an investigation into the shooting death of her husband on the evening of June 17, 2013. ~ Tucson Police Department

  • James Lee Derrington, 32-years old, was arrested for 1 count of First Degree Murder as a result of an investigation into a shooting incident that occurred on the afternoon of June 16, 2013 in the area of 50 West King. ~ Tucson Police Department

  • Ramon Trujillo, 45-years old, was arrested on June 12, 2013 for 1 count of Sexual Assault (Class 2 Felony) in relation to an investigation of a sexual assault that occurred in August of the year 2000. Tucson Police Department

  • Sierra Vista Police arrested Michael Sanchez after they received a report that two juvenile girls had been sexually molested by their stepfather. He was charged with two counts of Continual Sexual Abuse of a Child and booked into the Cochise County Jail.

  • Deputies charged 29-year-old German Dominguez with one count of Armed Robbery and one count of Aggravated Assault in connection with a robbery at the Foothills Mall on June 1, 2013.

  • 05.21.13 - Angelica Garcia Mendoza, 27 years old of Tucson, was found to have approximately 54 grams of Methamphetamine on her person. Mendoza was arrested and charged with: Possession of a Dangerous Drug for Sale, Transport of a Dangerous Drug, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Tampering with Evidence.   • After more than 37 years, Bruce McCullough - suspected of killing Ms. Donna Smith in March of 1976 has been apprehended and charged for the crime. In January of 2013, detectives from the Tucson Police Department Cold Case Unit traveled to San Diego, California to locate Mr. McCullough who was able to allude law enforcement attempts to locate him for over three decades due to the fact that he assumed a false identity.   • Alberto Martinez, age 22, was arrested for 1 count of Attempted Kidnapping and 1 count of Aggravated Assault and booked into the Pima County Jail. Both are felony offenses. Tucson Police Department

  • 05/03/13: Cory Burton was arrested for Robbery, Assault and Theft and booked into the Cochise County Jail after witnesses reported that he ran by a female victim and grabbed her purse, knocking her to the ground causing her to suffer injuries to her arms and head.   • 46-year old Esther Bergin was arrested and booked into the Pima County Jail for 1 count of Hoax, a class 4 felony, after she called 911 and lied about details regarding a possible bomb threat at HOPE in Tucson.

  • On Monday, April 15, the Sierra Vista Police arrested Ivan Valencia, 26, and charged him with two counts of Sexual Assault and two counts of Sexual Conduct with a Minor. Valencia was booked into the Cochise County Jail. Sierra Vista Police Department

  • 22-year old Rede Maria Wamel Sotelo, was arrested for 1 count of Second Degree Murder, 1 count of Criminal Damage, and 1 count of Endangerment, all felony offenses allegedly committed while driving under the influence. She was booked into the Pima County Jail.

  • March, 2013. 45-year old Dwayne Wynne was booked into the Pima County Jail for 60 counts of Prohibited Possessor. Detectives retrieved over 40 firearms that Mr. Wynne had pawned or sold at pawnshops and gun stores throughout Tucson. Seven more firearms, as well as methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia were seized from his residence. Further charges are pending.

  • On March 25, 2013, Patrick Andrew Lawson, 35 years of age from Sierra Vista, was arrested and charged with: Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana for Sale, Conspiracy to Transport Marijuana for Sale, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was booked into the Cochise County Jail.

  • On March 24, 2013, 24-year old Alexander Zumot was booked into the Pima County Jail for 1 count of Aggravated Luring a Minor for Sex, 1 count of Unlawful Age Misrepresentation and 1 count of Attempted Child Prostitution. Further investigation revealed that the suspect may have had contact with additional juvenile victims. Anyone with additional information is urged to contact 911 or 88-CRIME.

  • 29-year old Jessvan Hernandez was allegedly involved in the illegal downloading and distribution of child sex images. He was arrested and booked into the Pima County Jail for 4 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. (full story)

  • Jonathon Dewayne Peterson was arrested, March 20, 2013. He was booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center on a charge of Aggravated Luring of a Minor and several charges of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.

  • On March 18th, 2013 it was reported that 32-year old Heather Lopez, was arrested and charged with one count of 1st Degree Burglary, and booked into the Pima County Jail.

  • On March 18th, 2013 it was reported that 26-year old Christopher Guzman, was arrested and charged with one count of 1st Degree Burglary, and booked into the Pima County Jail.

  • On March 18th, 2013 it was reported that 30-year old Merced V. Lopez, was arrested and charged with one count of 1st Degree Burglary, and booked into the Pima County Jail.

  • The Pinal County Sheriff's Office arrested 37-year-old Charles Vega, the former acting fire chief of Hayden, Ariz. Vega was arrested for theft and trafficking in stolen property and booked into the Pinal County Jail. (full story)

  • Juan F. Esquivias, 21, was arrested Thursday, February 28 and faces criminal charges for suspicion of sexual conduct with a minor and aggravated luring, according to Deputy Tom Peine with the Pima County Sheriff's Department.

The community continued to respond with tips and information which ultimately led to the arrest of additional members of the attack mob, including Robert Russell (42), on three counts of Aggravated Assault.

  • Detectives with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department Robbery/Assault Unit have continued their investigation into the attack that occurred at the Outlaw Saloon in Tucson on February 17, 2013. The community continued to respond with tips and information which ultimately led to the arrest of additional members of the attack mob, including Samuel Ramsey (29) on three counts of Aggravated Assault.

  • On March 3, the Sierra Vista Police Department received an anonymous tip indicating a possible stolen vehicle being “stripped” at an address on West James Place. Sean Lowery, 38 years old of Sierra Vista, was arrested and charged with: one count of Theft of Means of Transportation, Trafficking in Stolen Property and Unlawful Use of License Plate. He was booked into the Cochise County Jail.

  • On February 25th, 2013, Robbery Detectives located and arrested 28-year old Jeffrey Boggs at his residence. A citizen recognized Mr. Boggs after seeing surveillance photographs on the local news and alerted detectives of his identity and location. He was booked into the Pima County Jail for one count of Attempted Armed Robbery. (full story)

  • Da'wan Grandville Lord, 20-years old, contacted the Tucson Police Department via his attorney then turned himself in at the Pima County Jail on February 21, 2013.   • Friday, January 25, 2013, Jeremy Millis was arrested for physically abusing the 8-month- old child of his former girlfriend. The baby had been in critical condition and eventually passed away.   • January 22, 2013, TPD was advised by Amphi HS staff of an incident in which a teacher’s aide engaged in sexual contact with two 18-year old students and sexual intercourse with a 16-year old student. The activity took place in the presence of three other students, one of which filmed the incident on a cell phone video camera.   • Pima County Sheriff’s Deputies took custody of Alejandro Ortiz Guerena from USMS at the Nogales port of entry on January 18th, 2013. Guerena was wanted in connection with an investigation into the Guerena Drug Trafficking Organization (DTO) which was suspected of being involved in drug trafficking and money laundering. It is expected that Cole Evan Neal, 24-years old, will ultimately be charged with 9 counts of Third Degree Burglary, all felonies.   • In the early morning hours of December 24, 2012, a suspect in multiple burglaries and car thefts was caught and arrested. TPD made contact with Patrick Joseph Greiwe as he was driving a stolen vehicle. Greiwe is wanted for his involvement in several crimes, mainly in the community of Catalina.
