One dead, two injured in Wichita nightclub shooting
Three people were shot in a disturbance outside a south Wichita nightclub early Sunday morning, and one died later at a hospital.
Police sergeant John Hoofer said the shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Spotlite Club near Morris and Hydraulic. A 30-year-old man died at a hospital a short time after the shooting, and two other men, ages 21 and 28, were injured. One man was treated and released and the other was hospitalized, but there was no word on his condition.
Hoofer said there was just a general description of the suspects, who were African-American man in their 20s and 30s.
Lab investigators were at the scene throughout the day to gather evidence.
