School bus goes off bridge in Butler County
Butler County Sheriff's Department deputies and rescue crews worked a rescue mission involving a school bus. The bus went off a bridge and into a creek near SW 190th St. and Hopkins Switch, northeast of Douglass.
Butler County 911 Director Chris Davis said the bus ended up on its side in the moving waters of the creek. He said there were 10 students on the bus, and they crawled out through the windows.
The bus driver was injured, and he was removed from the bus by rescue crews. The bus was operated by Douglass Public Schools.
