Update 9:45pm Thursday: Wichita Police Lieutenant Doug Nolte says the woman has been found and in good condition.
Original Story: Wichita Police are asking for help identifying a woman who walked out of a hospital after giving birth to a premature baby Monday.
The baby is in stable condition in the intensive care unit at Via Christi - St. Joseph's Hospital.
The woman gave a false name at the hospital, and said she was 24 years old. Police said she is not facing charges because of the Kansas safe-haven law, which allows a new parent to leave a child with designated authorities to forgo parental rights.
