Crime Stoppers to give $1,000 reward to tipster in July hit-and-run death
Crime Stoppers of Wichita-Sedgwick County is providing a $1,000 reward to the tipster that provided information leading to the arrests of three people in the hit-and-run death of Lloyd Ferguson.
Ferguson was killed July 5 when the horse he was riding on was hit by a car in northeast Wichita. A child riding on the horse with Ferguson was also hurt.
A tip to Crime Stoppers later that month led to three people being arrested.
"The anonymity of the tipster is the heart of the Crime Stoppers program," said Wichita Crime Commission Executive Director Gordon Bassham.
