Inside Edge: Kenny Chesney tried to buy monkeys, plus Florida Georgia Line, Eric Church news
Kenny Chesney once tried to buy Keith Urban two monkeys but couldn't get the deal done. Keith's fan club is called Monkeyville, so Kenny thought giving him monkeys to thank him for opening for his tour a few years back would be a nice gesture. But it was a little more involved than he anticipated.
Kenny explains, "I realized that you just can't go adopt one of these or buy one, it is a legal process, but I was going to buy two monkeys and I was going to have them in his bus when he got off stage the last night of the tour [as a gift]. But you just can't go buy a monkey, you know, it's like adopting a kid. You have to go through ... a long process, so we let that go.”
Florida Georgia Line's Brian Kelley (pictured on the right) will be featured on Animal Planet's "Treehouse Masters" series August 15. In advance of the episode, we learn that the rumors of a bridge between a tree house Brian used to live in to his new house are true. You will see how it was done when his episode of "Tree Masters" airs. The show features “tree whisperer” Pete Nelson designing “private escapes for those with a passion to reconnect with nature and awaken their inner child,” according to Animal Planet.
