Cleanup continues in Baltimore, where a residential street weakened by heavy rains collapsed onto the CSX train tracks below on Wednesday, taking street lights, sidewalk, trees and about eight cars with it.
Watch the dramatic video above to see a block-long portion of 26th Street in the city’s Charles Village neighborhood go from dangerously leaning to completely gone in 20 seconds. Two days of heavy rain preceded the collapse. Luckily, no one was injured.
While the cars and debris have been cleared from the site, work continues to shore up the remaining portion of the street and get local residents back in their homes.
