Patrick Stewart is a distinguished British stage and screen actor known mostly for dramatic roles, but he obviously has a great sense of humor. During a guest spot on Thursday's "Daily Show with Jon Stewart," he showed the audience a Twitter post of himself reclining in a bathtub and wearing a lobster costume.

Stewart said he and his wife were planning to attend a Halloween party when he told her, "I'm an actor, we don't put on costume. We leave that to civilians because we spend our days wearing costumes. No, no, no."
He says, however, that after his wife ordered the costume online and it arrived, "she took it out of the box and showed it to me. I had to put it on."
The actor said Twitter posts pointed out to him that he shouldn't have been the color lobster he was. "If he was a live lobster with a big smile on his face, then I should have been black or gray," he noted.
"And if he was six feet tall, he should be in a circus," the "Daily Show" host replied. (Watch the clip from the show below.)
