Late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel has done it again.

This time, people are upset with him about an annual Halloween prank. Kimmel encouraged parents to tell their kids that the parents ate all of their Halloween candy and film their reactions.

As you can guess, some of the kids got really upset.

Many of the kids threw tantrums or started bawling. One child, after being mollified by his parent, said "Well, that's not very kind." Another little girl threw an envelope at her mom before putting her hands angrily on her hips and pouting.

A psychology professor told the Associated Press: "Pranking your own children is not harmless fun, but is cruel and potentially damaging."

According to the same AP article, no one from Kimmel's show or the network has responded.

A headline on BostonHerald.com reads: "Jimmy Kimmel is a jerk"

Earlier in October, Kimmel came under fire after a kid, who was responding to the question on how the U.S. could solve a trade imbalance with China, said to kill everyone in China.

So viewers became so upset that they started an online petition where people ask the White House to comment on issues. The White House responds if at least 100,000 sign the petition.

The bit also resulted in a group of Asian Americans picketing outside of his studio in Los Angeles.

This is the third year that Kimmel has issued the challenge. This year's compilation of reactions has already been viewed more than 16 million times.
