Dancing Virgin America flight attendant reenacts safety video

By Julianne Cassidy. CREATED Mar 11, 2014

Do you remember that safety video which debuted last year for Virgin America featuring American Idol contestant Todrick Hall? Created by filmmaker Jon Chu, it showed attractive female flight attendants as back-up singers, a young girl rapping, break-dancers and a nun. No? Well, real-life air steward Michael Tongko is ready to reintroduce you.

Tongko was captured on video by a passenger as he reenacted the flight video in its entirety. From gyrating while fastening his seat-belt to shimmying with an oxygen mask on, Tongko demands everyone's attention without ever saying a word as he lip syncs along to the safety video.

At one point a high kick even gets a "nice!" from a passenger as the cabin remained fairly reserved up until that point. "The air steward is a figure skater in his spare time," confirms UK's Daily Mail.

It's undeniable that Tongko left an impression as he received a well deserved round of applause towards the end of the video.

Watch above for Tongko's exhausting, yet incredibly entertaining self-taught performance on Virgin America.
