Three Rescued From Arkansas River As Water Rises
TULSA (KTUL) Tulsa Fire Department rescue crews pulled three people out of the Arkansas River early Monday morning as the water rose around them.
A Fire Captain tells Channel 8 that the trio were fishing near the pedestrian bridge most of the day Sunday. That's near 2900 S. Riverside Drive in midtown Tulsa.
The water started rising around 12:45 a.m. Monday. Tulsa Fire officials are not certain whether operators at Keystone Dam were releasing water at that time.
The Fire Department dispatched a rescue boat and brought the three back to shore, unharmed.
