OKLAHOMA CITY (KFAQ) - The Oklahoma state tourism director is getting a $40,000 raise. The position had paid $86,000 per year, but legislation approved last session called for the big increase.
Officials say the increase was needed in order to meet levels paid by many other states, but the huge increase is getting some attention and forcing some questions to be asked.
