Man Arrested in Connection to Fatal Stabbing of 20-year-old
Tulsa (KTUL) A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection to a fatal stabbing in east Tulsa Sunday night.
Police say they responded to the 11400 block of E. 38th St. at approximately 9:20 p.m. and when they arrived on scene, they found a 20-year-old male who had been stabbed in the torso. The victim was transported to Saint Francis hospital, but did not survive.
Austin Nation was arrested on a complaint of first degree murder in connection to the stabbing. Police say Nation initially fled the scene, but came back only 30 minutes after police arrived.
According to police, there was a dispute involving several people outside a house in the area. The victim came outside and a fight took place, at which point Nation reportedly stabbed the victim.
Witness interviews led to the arrest of the suspect.
