Improve our Tulsa campaign starts

TULSA (KFAQ) - Tulsa city officials and community leaders plan to rally voters for their "Improve Our Tulsa" campaign Tuesday morning.
Mayor Dewey Bartlett, City Councilor G.T. Bynum and other community leaders will kick-off their education campaign for $918 million comprehensive infrastructure improvement package. The package will extend 1.1 percent of the City's current 1.167 percent sales tax to raise $563.7 million for street projects and capital improvements. The package will be up for vote on November 12.
The event will be at 10 a.m. on September 17 at the Northeast corner of 18th and Main Street.
