F&M Bank to merge with a Houston-based company

TULSA (KFAQ) - F&M Bank and Trust Company, with 10 bank branches in Tulsa is being sold and merged with a Houston-based company.
Prosperity Bancshares, the parent company of Prosperity Bank, will merge as one company. Anthony Davis, Chairman and CEO of FMBC said, "we are delighted to be joining the Prosperity organization, one with similarly rich history and core values like ours. We are proud of our nearly 70 years history of serving clients in our communities, and thank all of our F&M colleagues for building a strong commercially-focused community bank. The combinations created by our two companies will enable us to better server our clients through an expanded suite of products and services coupled with exceptional customer service."
F&M operates 10 bank branches in the Tulsa area and 3 in Dallas.
