Corporation Commision dismisses PSO cost pre-approval
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) The Oklahoma Corporation Commission has dismissed a case brought by Public Service Company of Oklahoma that sought pre-approval of costs associated with new EPA regulations on coal-fired electricity plants.
The commission voted 3-0 Tuesday to dismiss the case. Commission Chairman Patrice Douglas says the issue will be revisited.
Douglas said officials will work toward a solution that allows Oklahoma utilities to keep the lights on and also is fair to ratepayers.
