LUTHER, Okla. (AP) - The US Geological Survey has recorded a small earthquake near Luther in central Oklahoma.
The USGS reports that the 3.4 magnitude quake was recorded just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday about 4 miles south of Luther - about 20 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.
The Oklahoma County Sheriff's office says there are no reports of injury or damage.
Geologists say earthquakes of 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest that are felt by humans and that damage is not usually seen from tremors of below magnitude 4.0.
