OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office says deputies have found the body of a missing man in a creek in eastern Oklahoma County.
Sheriff's spokesman Mark Myers says the body of 65-year-old James Talbert was found in the creek Saturday morning less than a half-mile from where his vehicle was found.
Sheriff John Whetsel says Talbert was driving to work about 6:30 a.m. Saturday when he apparently drove off a washed out bridge and into the creek. Whetsel says it was dark at the time and Talbert apparently did not see that the bridge had been washed away.
The area had experienced flooding following a severe storm that produced a deadly tornado and heavy rains Friday night.
