Moore city officials urge financial donations

MOORE, Oklahoma (KFAQ) - Moore city officials are urging those who want to help to give financial donations to relief agencies, saying they no longer need items to be donated.

The city posted the following statement on the city's website:

Thanks to all of our friends from all over the world who have called and e-mailed offering support during this difficult time.  Due to the overwhelming generosity of our friends and neighbors, the City of Moore is no longer in need of donations. As we move forward in the recovery process, our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the disaster.
