Hoax forces lock down at Union High

TULSA (KFAQ) - Union High School was placed on lock down after a hoax call claimed two gunmen were firing shots at the school and had a bomb.
The Tulsa County Sheriffs Department says the caller indicated he was hearing shots being fired. Sheriff's deputies assigned as School Resource officers responded to the area within 2 minutes of receiving the call at about 1:45 p.m. Upon investigating, deputies determined the call to be a hoax and the lock down was lifted.
An investigation continues.
