A New York mom is launching an attack on those colorful M&Ms. She claims the artificial food coloring makes kids a little hyperactive. She's launched an online petition to get the parent company, Mars, to make some changes.
The mom also says her son's behavior improved dramatically when she removed artificial coloring from his diet, and says Europeans get a version of the candy with natural food coloring.
Mars also manufactures a range of other products ranging from Uncle Ben's rice to Pedigree dog food, and numerous other candy products including Skittles.
