Dog has surgery to reverse blindness, sees his owners for the first time

By Phyllis Stark. CREATED Jun 19, 2014
Adorable Irish Terrier Duffy lost his eyesight due to diabetes. But after vets regulated the disease, Duffy qualified for surgery to bring back his sight.

In the touching video above, which has racked up more than 2.1 million views since it was posted on YouTube June 14, Duffy sees his owners for the first time following a successful surgery to restore his vision at a veterinary clinic in Malvern, Pa., just outside Philadelphia.

Duffy, a rescue dog, is so excited he whines throughout the video, runs from family member to family member and never, ever stops wagging his tail.
