Wet & Stormy Saturday
Cape Coral, Fla., - A conveyor belt of tropical moisture continues to make for wet weather. Saturday afternoon numerous showers and storms have developed inland and along I-75. The rain is moving generally northward, creating downpours, gusty winds and frequent lightning. With all the rain we've received recently, there's the potential for brief flooding and standing water. Models indicate only about a quarter to a third of an inch of wide spread rain today, but there could be isolated areas that receive more. Skies will remain partly sunny to cloudy with temperatures mostly in the mid 80s. And the rain should diminish into the later evening hours. Lows tonight will settle in the mid 70s. Sunday we should see slightly less rain.
