Viewers Voice: Should the U.S. take military action against Syria?

CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Whether the U.S. should take military action against Syria is on the minds of many viewers.
As President Obama tries to convince congress that the United States should take action against Syria's regime, many in Southwest Florida are taking to the phone to show their distaste. Vincent a vet from Naples calling Fox Four explaining his point of view.
"We've had enough wars. We don't have the man power, we don't have the funds and Syria is not a threat to this country."
Doris fears more lives will be lost in the process.
"Innocent people will be killed in the attack as well as the innocent that were killed by the gas," said Doris.
But Jeff siding with the President that we need to act.
"I think they definitely ought to go in and do something about it. Let America be America again."
Bill from Fort Myers saying the opposite.
"We don't need to prove ourselves as Americans, we are Americans. What's going on over there, does not need to happen but we don't need to get involved," said Bill.
Elaine from Naples said, "We need more diplomacy and more talking and more human care... no war."
Congress will return from recess September 9th.
