CAPE CORAL, Fla. - The calls keep coming from frustrated job seekers looking for their unemployment checks blaming problems with the state's 60 million dollar website.

Patty from Port Charlotte claims she filed for unemployment more than a month ago.

"Every week I get another song and dance and something is wrong. They didn't get my skills test, they didn't get this test, they didn't get that test. They're still not releasing my money and I'm broke," she said.

The problem slowly getting fixed for some but John from Cape Coral also said he's been getting the run around for months now.

"They are months behind that I have not been paid and it keeps showing online that I've exhausted everything which I haven't because I didn't get my full unemployment. Eight months missing," said John.

Meanwhile, the man in charge of the website and director of the Department of Economic Opportunity, Jesse Panuccio, is getting his contract renewed.

One of several committees needed for Panuccio to keep his $141,000 salary confirmed he is on the way to keeping his job.

That has Gary in Fort Myers fired up.

"It's funny how everyone was quick to jump on the failures of the Obama Care web, health care.gov website but I haven't heard anyone jumping on the governor republican website, depriving everyone of the money to keep them going."

Panuccio has publicly butted heads with Sen. Bill Nelson over Nelson's calls for investigations into the failures of the website.
