Two arrested in Englewood Narcotics search warrant
ENGLEWOOD, Fla. - A man and woman were arrested Wednesday on drug-related charges after the Sheriff’s Office’s Narcotics Unit executed search warrants at their residence east of Englewood.
Detectives began an investigation in late June 2013 concerning narcotics activity on Tramore Avenue.
As a result of their investigation, they were able to obtain a search warrant for the house which was executed Wednesday morning.
While at the house, detectives found that an enclosed trailer and a van owned by one of the residents of the house was parked on an adjacent vacant lot. After two different narcotics-trained K9s alerted on the vehicles, detectives requested and received a second search warrant for them.
Detectives located 1,860 grams of marijuana with an estimated street value of $18,450.
The contents of all of the packages tested positive for marijuana.
Detectives arrested 39-year-old Andrew Lalor and 28-year-old Mary Feustel on charges of Possession of Marijuana over 20 Grams, Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Sell or Deliver and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both Lalor and Feustel were transported to the Charlotte County Jail.
Feustel’s 8-year old son was at the house in the bedroom where some of the marijuana was located during the search. He was released into the custody of a relative.
