Tropical Depression 7 Forms South of Puerto Rico
CREATED Sep. 4, 2013
Tropical Depression Number 7 has just developed just south of Puerto Rico.
Hurricane Hunter Reconnaissance air crafts have confirmed that there is just enough of a circulation with enough organized shower and thunderstorm activity to be upgraded from a tropical wave.
During the next day, the environment surrounding the depression does appear to be conducive for additional development. Only a gradual intensification is expected.
A trough moving across the Southeastern United Stated is forecast to curve the system northward in two or three days.
The forecast track will remain uncertain, a larger area of disturbed weather could interact with Tropical Depression 7.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely.
