Cape Coral, FL-
A large area of showers & thunderstorms associated with an upper-level trough extends from the southeastern Bahamas northeastward for several hundred miles over the western Atlantic.
An area of low pressure is expected to develop southeast of Bermuda during the next day or two and then move to the north and northeast.
Environmental conditions are forecast to be only marginally favorable for tropical cyclone development; this system has a low chance (10%) of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 5 days.
