State closes it's case against a former Lee deputy
FORT MYERS, Fla. - The state has closed its case against a former Lee County deputy who is accused of beating and robbing a man in Bonita Springs.
The Federal Government is now looking into the case against Michael Ronga.
Ronga allegedly beat up a man while on duty in May stealing the man's money and cell phone.
Ronga was placed on administrative leave without pay from the Sheriff's Office.
