SWFL should see drying trend by end of week

CAPE CORAL - Heavy rains associated with a low pressure system just to our north will be a factor through midweek.
 
Flooding is widespread in Charlotte and Lee Counties again Tuesday, as rains in the past 24 hours have been heaviest in those counties.  
 
Heavy rains will continue through Tuesday night, but Wednesday should be a bit drier, with a significant drying trend in the forecast by the end of the week.
