Rash of car burglaries in Port Charlotte

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office is warning residents in Port Charlotte about a series of vehicle burglaries over the last few days.
Five vehicles have been burglarized since Sunday. All were left unlocked.
The latest incidents happened earlier today involving two different victims along Midway Boulevard near Conway Boulevard.
Investigators say suspects are entering unlocked vehicles and removing whatever loose property is left inside.
Sheriff Bill Prummell would like to remind everyone to always lock their car doors when they leave their vehicle.
