CAPE CORAL - Very heavy rains are moving through Southwest Florida Monday afternoon, with Lee county getting hit the hardest with some street flooding and dangerous driving conditions.
The heavy rains are associated with an area of low pressure in the Gulf that will keep us very wet through the beginning of next week.
Numerous Flood watches could be issued for Southwest Florida in the next 24 hours.
As of 4pm, here are some rain totals for Lee County.
